Kids First Program
Presented by Michigan State University Extension

KIDS FIRST - MOM AND DAD, WE NEED YOU!

An Interactive Parenting Educational Program
For
Never Married, Separated, Divorcing, or Divorced Parents


"Kids First - Mom and Dad, We Need You" is a one-time interactive educational parenting program.

You must pre-register at the link below:
Please have your case number handy to complete the registration.

  • There is a $15.00 fee for class payable to Michigan State University Extension for class facilitation.
  • Cash or a money order will be accepted at the beginning of class.
  • Parents do not have to appear together.
  • Please do not bring children to the program; we are unable to provide childcare.
  • Certificates of Completion will be provided at the end of each class.
  • Parents are required to complete the class within 45 days of notice.
  • Limited seating is available at each site, so pre-registration is required.

Instead of attending the live Kids First Program, there are additional online class options:

  • Four-hour online course.
  • One-time payment of $29.95.
  • Offered in both English and Spanish.
  • Certificates of Completion provided upon successful completion.
Wayne County Michigan Online Co-Parenting Class
  • Four-hour online course.
  • One-time payment of $29.95 (low-income discounts available).
  • Offered in both English and Spanish.
  • Certificates of Completion provided upon successful completion.
